Because we facilitate scheduling for medical consultations, we treat your personal information with absolute care, prioritizing encryption, client transparency, and compliance with healthcare data norms.
1. Information We Collect
When you register an account, make token bookings, or consult with doctors, we collect the following types of information:
Account Data
Full name, email address, phone number, and securely hashed passwords.
Booking Logs
OPD token appointments, history of doctor visits, check-in times, and consulting queues.
Transactions
Transaction reference IDs processed by our payment gateways (we do NOT store bank/card details).
System Details
Device metadata, FCM tokens for push alerts, browser types, and operating system logs.
Location (Optional)
City or GPS coordinates to discover nearby medical facilities (only with your explicit permission).
Support Records
Messages sent via contact forms, onboarding document uploads, and grievance tickets.
2. How We Use Your Information
We process your data to keep queues moving smoothly and securely. Specifically, we use it to:
- Generate and manage digital OPD consult tokens in real-time.
- Calculate estimated consult wait times and notify you of queue turns via SMS and push alerts.
- Process consultation fees and coordinate refunds through PCI-DSS gateway partners.
- Enable hospital administrators and receptionist staff to verify booking statuses on arrival.
- Analyze traffic trends to optimize server performance and build better queue logistics.
- Fulfill legal audits, resolve disputes, and prevent fraudulent duplicate token bookings.
4. Data Retention
We keep your account information active as long as you maintain your ArogyaQ membership. Booking details, token status history, refund transactions, and logs are kept in line with local healthcare compliance guidelines for auditing and legal records. If you request deletion of your account, we will erase or anonymize your personal identifiers, except where we are required by law to retain specific record copies.
5. Enterprise-Grade Security
We deploy robust digital safeguards to protect your personal and healthcare information:
- Transit Encryption: All data exchanged between your device and our servers is secured via TLS 1.3 encryption.
- Credential Security: User and administrator passwords are hashed server-side using the industry-proven bcrypt algorithm before storage.
- Payment Compliance: Payment cards or UPI details are never stored on our database. All transactions are handled by PCI-DSS compliant payment gateways.
- Bot Protection: We use Cloudflare Turnstile to protect our authentication flows against spam and automated abuse. Turnstile collects session and interaction metadata securely. (Refer to the Cloudflare Privacy Addendum).

As an ArogyaQ user, you hold complete ownership of your personal data. You are entitled to:
